The Estate of Charles O. Perry
g a macura inc. is working with the estate of Charles O. Perry (1929 - 2011). He was an artist, mathematician, and architect, known for his large-scale public sculptures. Perry received more than 100 major commissions around the world, including pieces at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C, the Hood Museum at Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH; Harvard University, Boston, MA; Zeimu University, Tokyo, Japan; Shell Oil, Melbourne, Australia and Singapore. As an industrial designer, Perry has invented three unique IBD prize winning chairs. He also designed a collection of jewelry and silver objects for Tiffany, puzzles for the Museum of Modern Art, and a chess set, which is in the Design Collection of MoMA. He frequently lectured on mathematics and art in conferences throughout the world.
